Helping Locally

For more than 40 years, Murphy & Prachthauser lawyers have been known as “Good Lawyers Who Help People.” The attorneys and staff at Murphy & Prachthauser are dedicated to helping their clients by providing high-quality legal service. But, helping people extends outside the office. Through volunteering and providing financial support to various organizations, Murphy & Prachthauser is able to help people in many other ways. These are a few of the organizations that the attorneys and staff at Murphy & Prachthauser hold dear to their hearts.

The team at Murphy & Pracuthauser also gives back to the community by offering pro-bono work. On such case involved a widow against an attorney for excessive attorney fees. In the course of the dispute, the court-ordered sanctions (a monetary fine) against the attorney, for what amounted to unlawful conduct. Since we were taking this case pro bono, we directed that the sanction be donated to Legal Action of Wisconsin, a group that provides legal services to the poor. That entity was very appreciative.
